Some love stories are written in the stars; others unfold in the crisp winter air, where warmth is found in shared laughter and unwavering devotion. Breanna and Kyle’s wedding was one such story—an unforgettable celebration of love set against the stunning, snow-covered landscapes of Winnipeg.

A Love to Brave the Cold
Breanna and Kyle are the kind of couple who embrace life with open arms. When planning their wedding day, they were ready for anything—including the frigid temperatures of a classic Canadian winter. Their wedding took place on February 25, 2023, and though the thermometer read -30°C, their spirits never wavered.
Instead of a traditional getting-ready session, the couple opted to meet directly at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights for their first photos of the day. This architectural marvel provided a striking backdrop, with its towering glass panels and dramatic design. For photographer Chris Ngo, it was a long-awaited opportunity to capture wedding portraits inside this iconic space.
After capturing breathtaking images within the museum’s warm interiors, Breanna and Kyle set out for their wedding venue: Bridges Golf Course. Nestled just outside the city, Bridges was a winter wonderland, its rolling fairways blanketed in snow, offering a picturesque setting for both their ceremony and reception.

A Ceremony to Remember
Despite the biting cold, love radiated through every moment of their day. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at Bridges Golf Course, surrounded by their closest family and friends. The venue’s cozy, rustic elegance perfectly complemented the winter landscape outside, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for their heartfelt “I dos.”
Following the ceremony, Breanna and Kyle were determined to capture a few stunning outdoor portraits. With temperatures plummeting, they braved the cold, stepping outside in short bursts while dashing back indoors to warm up between shots. Their resilience and dedication paid off—each photo showcased their undeniable love, framed by the pristine snow and glowing winter light.

A Reception Full of Warmth and Celebration
With the formalities complete, the newlyweds and their guests settled in for an unforgettable reception at Bridges Golf Course. The evening was filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and plenty of dancing. Inside the venue’s warm, inviting space, guests celebrated late into the night, proving that love, joy, and good company can melt even the coldest of days.
