What Are the Canadian Wedding Photography Awards?

The Canadian Wedding Photography Awards (CWPA) is designed to recognize the creativity and skill of Canada’s top wedding photographers. Exclusively for members of Canadian Wedding Photographers, this series includes six competitions annually where photographers can submit their best work across diverse categories. The winners are determined by peer voting and annual titles such as Canadian Wedding Photographer of the Year are awarded to those who truly shine.

How does it work? Simple.

  • The Canadian Wedding Photography Awards are always open for submissions.
  • Submit up to 25 photos and select the category you would like to submit each image for.
  • Winners are determined by a fair and balanced vote of your peers.
  • When voting begins, members are invited to cast their votes for their favourite photos.
  • Voting sessions are open for an entire month.
  • The Top 5 Photos in Each Category are Awarded
