Meet Shawn Taylor.
Shawn is a Journalism Grad, Former Newspaper Editor and Nikon Pro Services Member who received his Accreditation from the Professional Photographers of Canada in Environmental Wedding Photography in 2011.
Shawn started his career as a Professional Photographer in 2005 in Niagara Falls, but these days calls Clarenville, Newfoundland home.
After 600+ weddings - including two repeat brides! - Shawn says he feels he has seen just about everything.
“I am in my element on a wedding day. Wedding planning need not be stressful. If you are planning a Newfoundland Wedding from out of province - I can help with that. I have seen the good - the bad - and the "did that just happen?"
After more than a decade of capturing 35 - 55 weddings a year in Niagara Falls - Shawn moved to Newfoundland in 2019 - just before “Snowmageddon” and the pandemic.
“I moved to Newfoundland to slow things down and create some epic images at the edge-of-the-world.!” He explains.
These days Shawn limits himself to about 15 weddings a year and is especially interested in working with couples who value real moments and memories over trends or “cheese.”
“I most enjoy capturing real memories - I like Classic - Colourful - Candid - Clean images - candid moments and epic portraits are my faves!

Moving into 2024 Shawn has upgraded his drone photo abilities - Shawn says he is looking forward to exploring the coasts of Newfoundland with his couples this summer and bringing a birds eye view to his wedding work.
